The Bare Family needs your help. Their daughter, Emily Rose Bare who is nine years old was diagnosed with Cancer on January 2008. She has Ostiosarcoma (bone cancer) in the left arm and it has spread into her lungs. Any financial contributions would be greatly appreciated in this time of need.

Emily Rose has had every scan possible and all scans came back negative
and she is free of cancer at this time. The surgeon wanted to save
her arm and did all that is possible to save it. He said if it starts
to cause her pain then he will try to figure a way to keep the implant
in place. Though until she stops growing this is the situation at this
time. She will go to the clinic every three months for CT scans and
lab work. Thank you all very much for all of your prayers and help
through the pat fifteen months!

Emily got out of the hospital yesterday after her last chemotherapy
appointment. She had three since they got back from her Make a Wish
trip to Disneyworld on February 9th. She had three different types
of scans since she has been in the hospital. This time CT, MRI and
bone scans all have come back negative. So we hope and pray that the
cancer is gone and the doctors want to do a pet scan. The doctors will
have to fix the left arm again where the implant has dropped, but after
that except for annual check ups she is in remission. Thank you all
so very much for all your thoughts and prayers! She has been a very
brave girl and stronger than most. We are going to have a special party
for her and so contact us

Tonight we went to a local fire house for dinner cooked by real fire
fighters. They were awesome! Emily's sister, Elisha went on a ride
along with the fire men to a call were some people got stuck in an
elevator. We all had a great time.

We would like to thank everybody for their support of Emily. She is
doing fine as she just got out of the hospital for chemo and we get
Christmas off but have to go back in on December, 30, 2008 for surgery
on the left lung to remove one more tumor, and her left arm fell out
of socket which will be put back in socket in March 2009. God bless
everyone and have a Merry Christmas from the Bare Family!

Emily is out of the hospital this and then back in on Monday for two
more weeks of chemo. They are talking about doing surgery on both lungs
this time as there is a new tumor in the upper lobe of the left lung
and something in the right that they want to check out. She will go
on her Make A Wish trip to Disneyworld in February if all is well.

Emily had surgery on her lung today and they said the tumor was about
the size of an egg. They took it out with the surrounding tissue and
they are very sure they got it all. After 7-10 days she should be ready
for the next round of chemo for 4 weeks. If all goes well they will
do the other lung. Thank you for your prayers and thoughts!

She had the surgery on her arm and they replaced the ball and bone
in her left arm from the shoulder down to the elbow. They are having
a very difficult time with the healing and they have had to go back
in and remove the infection and put another drain in place this week.
Unfortunately the chemo is not working and the tumor in her left lung
has more than doubled in size and they are going to try something else
now.

Emily Rose, had surgery on her left arm the upper bone was replaced
with a titanium implant. She has recovered well from that. She will
be undergoing surgery on her left lung on July 8, and back on chemo
for 4 treatments. The right lung will be done after about 4 weeks.
